Opera singer & Voice teacher

She pursued her music education as an opera singer and a classical voice teacher at the Music Academy of Kiev, Ukraine. She also completed her PhD degree in the field of Musical Education.
Since 2000 he has lived and worked in Israel.
Performs in opera projects and solo programs in Israel and abroad -America, Ukraine, Latvia, Russia. Takes part in internationals festivals in Israel “Jerusalem festival”, “Jerusalem Autumn”, “Pearls of Classical music”, “Festival of Vocal and Liturgical Music” -Abu Gosh, “Oskolkov and his friends” – St. Peterburg.
Svetlana Bendikov regularly participates in the "Kol Israel" radio station and the “Kol Hamuzika” radio station programs, as well as on television broadcasts.
She has recorded several discs, including “Arias by Italian Composers”, “Favorite songs and Arias from operettas in Yiddish”, « Clasishe romansn un lider oif yiddish», «Ave Maria & other sacred solos».
She has been awarded two awards: the Award of the Union of Artists of Israel in the honor of Ehud Manor, for the depiction of artistic image in a performed composition, and also the Award of the minister of absorption in the honor of Yuri Stern, for advancing the development of arts in Israel.
She was honored to sing in the house of Israel presidents Shimon Peres and Reuven Rivlin.
Jury member of international competitions and festivals: “Golden Key” Israel, “Sea Pearls’ Israel, “Kaleidoscope” Israel, “Golden dream” Bulgaria & America, “Sing at Home” Italia, “Constellation of Talents” Moldova.
Svetlana is currently is a professor of The Academy of Music and Dance in Jerusalem. Students have repeatedly won prizes at international festivals in Israel & abroad.
